|Written by Sophia D, yogini, 2013: I have attended classes at RLY on and off. I practice yoga many places in the community, but I always feel warm and welcome at RLY. I approached you saying, “I’m not getting pregnant; it’s been over a year…please help” and you told me to continue my practice and it will come….in the following weeks I found out I was expecting. I know my practice helped and our conversation sent good energy into the universe for me. I practiced throughout my pregnancy and my son is now a beautiful (and calm!) 6 month old! Many thanks for everything you do. I appreciate RLY being there for its community.Written by Lauren Miller, yogini, 2013: I enjoyed your wonderful yoga classes for 9 years until my husband and I moved to Northville a year ago today. To this day I have not found a studio that comes close. So, I gave up and haven’t done Yoga since the end of last summer. I planned to commute once a week on Monday nights to do Maureen’s class that I did for years, but with my work schedule it is not possible. The problem (with other studios) is they call the class gentle and restorative, but when I attend it isn’t. I need a clone of Maureen and/or her class out this way so I can do Yoga again. I hate to think I have to give it up for good. Congratulations on your 10 year Anniversary. I remember when you took over the studio I had been attending on Rochester Road 10 years ago, and how much I enjoyed getting my fix every Monday night. Best wishes to you over the next 10 years.|
