Restorative Yoga

These soothing and well-supported poses offer the opportunity to linger quietly for a few moments, learning to rest deeply and completely. Supported by blankets, blocks, or other props, restorative poses are held for several minutes at a time, allowing your body to open through passive stretching without undue stress on the body.
Restorative yoga provides healing for the body and the mind. It is especially useful when you need to eliminate fatigue and stress that result from your daily activities. It can also help you recover from injury or illness, or overcome emotional depression and anxiety.
